| This is not my dad. |
My dad always tells the best stories from when he was growing up. I was home yesterday and he decided to tell me about the time he worked in a brewery. I don't remember which one it was but all the employees would get a free case of beer every week as well as a chip that gave them 50% off any beer they bought - an employee discount. When the employees would take their cases home at the end of the week they'd have to wrap them in brown paper so customers didn't question why so many people were walking out of the store room with cases of beer and not paying. At the time my dad didn't drink beer so he would put the cases he got under his bed and give them to friends and pay his mechanic. When he needed his car fixed he'd always take it to the same guy, because they had a deal. The mechanic would look at his car and give him a cost in cases of beer. So for a few years my dad got free beer and free maintenance on his car. Sweet!
