Ok, so we've got the rate at which I post established - approximately twice a year.
Lately, I haven't been up to a whole lot. I'm mostly at work, where I have a whole bunch of spare time. To make my shifts go by faster I've taken to picking up the newspaper on my way in and doing the crossword and sudoku. Once those are done I start colouring in the answers from the previous day's puzzles because by then I'm mad bored. This has resulted in trying to find sentances or hidden messages. So far, I've found nothing. Thus far I've found "I cried rye", "Rang slang rupees", "Eye wed men" and "hoe bag". Yeah, I get really bored.
A while back (long enough ago that it was in the summer) I spent a weekend at my boyfriend's cottage. He told me a story of a coal ship that sank 100 years ago and showed me the coal that still washes up on the shore. Because it's just how I roll, I collected some which inevitably sat collecting dust for months. BUT! I did end up turning two pieces into rings, one I'm not so fond of but the other I really love. And now they sit, collecting dust... Yeah. Some things never change.
Moving on, HALLOWEEN. A month late... don't judge me (I blame my posting frequency). I celebrated the weekend before by baking pumpkin and chocolate cookies with the roomie and friends and then going to a party some of my friends were having. It was a really fun night, and there were some intense/impressive/what costumes (a friend spent months building an iron man costume complete with lights and rockets (well, nerf bullets) which was crazy).
Lastly, The Kat Cave (which we've named our apartment) has a new addition this week! My roomie brought her rat Macy to come live with us. For now she's napping/getting used to her new home but I'm excited to have a furry little friend in the house. Plus, it doesn't hurt that she's crazy adorable!
So there you have it, my average, if not a little dull (I really need to work on that) life. I'll be back in 6 months! (I'd like to post more but I'm just being realistic haha).
